Beginnings

It all started with a sugar scrub.  Attitude Bath & Body Collection originated from my desire to create something I couldn't find anywhere . . a really great sugar scrub.  Sugar scrubs were available everywhere but I found they were either full of nasty chemicals yet affordable or made with all natural ingredients but oh so pricey.  I knew I could do better.   Now, let me back up a bit and tell you that I consider myself to be not only a wizard of creativity - yes, I am very crafty indeed -  but also a bonafide bath junkee.  I love all things that exfoliate, moisturize and smell yummy.   Bubbles, soaps, salts . . . I love them all.  But does the good stuff have to be so expensive?  Discouraged that I couldn't find what I wanted, I decided to put my talents to use and make it myself (the creativity thing).   I experimented with formulas and came up with what I believe to be the perfect blend of sugars and oils.  My test market i.e. family, friends, random shoppers at the mall . . all agreed  - I had done it.  

At that point, I began really looking closely at other products I was using, bubble baths, salts and where can you get a really great body lotion anyway? And so, it began.  I educated myself on natural skin care ingredients.  I researched how I would create a line of products that exfoliate, moisturize, detoxify - all using only natural ingredients.  The idea was that my line of all natural, bath and body products would be comparable to those found at fancy spas yet affordable to everyone because let's face it, we all deserve to pamper ourselves.    With that in mind, attitude - the affordable luxury was born.

My home spa obsession launched in November 2004 when Attitude Bath & Body Collection debuted just in time for the holiday season.   All of my products are made on demand and in small batches, using fresh, natural ingredients - only the best of what Mother Nature has to offer. 

Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple - keep it natural and find the balance. 

Keep it natural because we believe it unhealthy and unwise to use unnatural ingredients on your skin.  It is, after all, the largest organ of the body, yet is undervalued and misunderstood.  Our formulas contain only high quality, natural ingredients and are gentle enough for the most delicate skin. 

Find the Balance and make time to recharge.  We understand busy.  Sometimes, getting through the day can be challenging.

Everyone needs balance though, and that means taking time to relax and recharge.  Give yourself permission to take time for yourself.  You deserve it.
